Position Summary:
This role owns how Adams Group and Marianne’s come to life in person.
The Event Marketing Manager will lead strategy and execution for Adams Group and Marianne’s most important brand moments — trade shows, media events, influencer gatherings, retail activations, and community experiences that build awareness, relationships, and demand for the brand.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and external partners, this role will create memorable, highly organized, and visually compelling experiences that represent Marianne’s with excellence. This is not a traditional field marketing role — this is brand-forward, high-impact event marketing at the center of how Adams Group and Marianne’s grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Shows & Industry Events
Own strategy and execution for major trade shows including Expo West, regional shows, and industry events
Manage booth design partners, vendors, logistics, timelines, and budgets
Develop event timelines, run-of-show documents, and ensure cross-functional alignment
Lead on-site execution including setup, staffing coordination, flow, and strike
Track event leads, key conversations, relationships, and overall ROI
Media, Influencer & Retail Events
Plan and execute media events, influencer gatherings, and retail partner activations
Coordinate product, signage, sampling, swag, and hospitality needs
Support speaking opportunities and awards events in partnership with Communications
Ensure consistent brand presentation across all physical touchpoints
Process, Playbooks & Cross-Functional Alignment
Build event playbooks and scalable processes for future execution
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure events align with commercial priorities
Serve as the point of coordination between internal teams and external partners for all event-related needs
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Education and Experience
5–8+ years of experience in event, experiential, or trade show marketing (CPG or food preferred)
Proven ability to manage large trade shows and brand activations end-to-end
Experience managing vendors, budgets, and production timelines
Experience with sampling, seeding, and hospitality-style brand events
Skills and Competencies:
Exceptional project management skills and strong attention to detail
Creative thinker who understands how physical space brings a brand to life
Highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and partners
Passion for food, design, and creating meaningful brand experiences
Working Conditions:
Willingness to travel seasonally for trade shows, regional events, and media gatherings
Remote, with 1x/week travel to Natomas, CA (Sacramento), trade shows, and key events
