Position Summary
The Event Marketing Manager owns the strategy, planning, and execution of DataSpring’s event portfolio as a core activation within integrated marketing campaigns. This role translates campaign objectives and growth strategy into high-impact event experiences, including industry trade shows to proprietary webinars. This role ensures seamless delivery and measurable business outcomes. This role serves as the central project manager for all events, partnering across Growth, Brand & Web, Product Marketing, and Sales to deliver consistent, on-brand experiences that drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue. This role is accountable for event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline performance in partnership with Growth Marketing and Sales.
The Event Marketing Manager is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Director, Growth Marketing.
Specific Responsibilities
Event Planning & Program Development
- Build and manage an annual event calendar aligned to Growth marketing, brand and marketing campaign priorities, product initiatives, and GTM plans
- Use audience insights, market trends, and campaign data to inform event strategy, targeting, and experience design.

Translate campaign objectives and growth marketing strategy into event-specific plans, formats, and attendee experiences
- Define event-level goals and KPIs in partnership with Growth Marketing and the larger growth team, ensuring alignment to broader marketing and business objectives
Event Execution
- Own the full lifecycle of event execution, serving as the primary project manager across all stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering pre-event, at-event, and post-event workstreams

Partner with Campaign Strategy Lead to ensure events are fully integrated into campaign journeys
- Ensure consistent, high-quality brand execution across all physical and digital event touchpoints

Lead all event logistics, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, shipping, staffing, and on-site coordination for both physical and virtual events.

Manage the event budget, ensuring efficient spend and accurate financial tracking.
- Anticipate and proactively mitigate execution risks to ensure seamless delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Brand & Web team on booth design, creative assets, and event-related landing pages
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop presentations, demos, and messaging that reflect product value and campaign themes

Align closely with Sales to define target accounts, influence attendee strategy, and drive post-event conversion and pipeline progression.
Performance & Optimization
- Own event performance tracking in partnership with Analytics, including leads generated, pipeline contribution, and ROI
- Lead post-event debriefs with stakeholders to capture insights and continuously improve future event execution

Identify opportunities to optimize event formats, workflows, and vendor partnerships for efficiency and impact

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments, and drive alignment across teams.

Ability to develop a strong working knowledge of DataSpring solutions to successfully translate business and campaign objectives into actionable execution plans for events

Strong commercial and operational mindset with a focus on execution excellence and driving measurable business outcomes and pipeline impact

High attention to detail and ability to proactively manage timelines, budget and dependencies
- Executive communication skills to manage communication with SMEs, external executive speakers, etc.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Advanced PowerPoint skills.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event program management

Demonstrated success thinking strategically and critically to create event management processes with a focus on maximizing ROI relative to a variety of metrics.

Experience executing industry conferences, trade shows, and/or virtual events in healthcare or technology industry required.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
