We are seeking a talented, self-driven, collaborative, and highly motivated candidate with a proven background in event marketing and stakeholder management. Ideally, you are a data-driven marketer who brings fresh ideas, strategic focus, and a commitment to excellence every day. Events are a critical growth lever at CBTS/OnX. This role will shape how we show up in the market鈥攖urning events into a strategic advantage that strengthens the brand, fuels demand and deepens customer relationships.


Role Summary

The Events Lead will own CBTS/OnX鈥檚 event strategy鈥攄esigning, planning, and executing high-impact events that drive brand awareness, pipeline growth, and meaningful customer engagement. This role blends strategic thinking with operational excellence and strong cross-functional leadership to ensure events are tightly aligned to growth priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both strategy and execution across our most critical events, including industry conferences, partner events, customer forums, and proprietary experiences.


Role Responsibilities

路 Set the annual events strategy in partnership with Growth Marketing

路 Align events to brand narrative, go-to-market priorities, and growth goals

路 Define the role of events across the full funnel鈥攆rom brand awareness to pipeline and expansion

路 Build and maintain a multi-year event roadmap aligned to business priorities

路 Plan and execute events end-to-end, including promotion, storytelling, logistics, and on-site execution

路 Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI

路 Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Services, Partner, Product, Comms) to deliver cohesive experiences

路 Own operational processes, timelines, vendors, and agencies

路 Ensure consistent brand presence and high-quality execution across all events

路 Lead and develop event team members and external partners

路 Define and track event performance metrics (pipeline impact, ROI, engagement)

路 Build scalable processes for capture, reporting, and optimization

路 Use data and insights to continuously refine the events strategy

路 Champion inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture

路 Demonstrated ability to connect events to pipeline and revenue outcomes

路 Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

路 Willingness to travel to support key events and on-the-ground execution
