We’re hiring a creator-first Digital Marketing Content Creator to help grow Knowt’s TikTok and Instagram—accounts that already reach 400k+ AP students and keep growing fast.
You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping Knowt’s AP presence on social—experimenting with ideas, building repeatable formats, and helping set the creative direction for content seen by hundreds of thousands of students.
This role is ideal for US-based recent grads (within 2–3 years) who were AP students, love short-form video, and are excited to help build and scale a product that supports millions of students as they prepare for some of the most important exams of their academic careers. Own and create short-form video content for Knowt’s AP brand on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts
Take ideas from concept → script → shoot → edit → post → iterate
Jump on real-time trends and remix them into content AP students instantly relate to
Collaborate cross-functionally to spotlight new features, community moments, and student wins
Engage directly with our community through comments, DMs, and mentions
Track performance metrics and optimize content based on what actually performs
This role is hands-on, creative, and highly visible—you’ll help define how AP students discover and use Knowt.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Lived the AP life — you were an AP student and completed at least three AP courses, so you genuinely understand the pressure, humor, and mindset of high-achieving high schoolers.
Live for short-form content and instinctively know what works on TikTok & Instagram.
Think independently and aren’t afraid to experiment, test, and ship ideas without needing step-by-step direction.
Have out-of-the-box ideas that push boundaries and probably wouldn’t get approved at more traditional companies.

Understand the high-school voice, tone, and vernacular, and can translate current trends into content that feels authentic—not try-hard.
Learn fast, move quickly, and take initiative with minimal oversight.

1-2 years experience in social media marketing
Hands-on video production skills (editing, scripting, social formats).
Completed a minimum of three AP courses
Strong grasp of TikTok & Instagram trends, formats, and culture
Creative, trend-aware mindset with strong storytelling skills
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows, content creation, and community engagement; able to identify where AI can add value without compromising quality
