The Role We are seeking a seasoned Director/Senior Director - Customer Lifecycle Marketing to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all post-acquisition marketing programs to drive retention, advocacy, and expansion.

This role is ideal for a SaaS marketing leader who thrives on building scalable, data-driven lifecycle programs that drive measurable business impact. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Support to deliver segmented. personalized, omnichannel customer journeys that deepen engagement, increase retention, drive upsell and cross-sell to increase NRR.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

Define and own the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy — from activation to renewal, upsell and cross-sell. Establish a strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and customer journey and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints with segmentation models to personalize customer messaging by persona, industry, product usage, and lifecycle stage. Establish measurable goals for engagement, retention, upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy Lead a team to design and deploy multi-channel campaigns covering emails, nurture streams, webinars, newsletters, surveys, and measure engagement and impact. Build scalable nurture programs for onboarding, product education, up-sell, cross-sell, and renewal readiness. Design and implement a range of cross-sell and upsell marketing programs to ensure customers are aware of recent product innovation and add-on options to drive account expansion Drive growth in our customer reference program in tandem with Sales and Customer Support to drive customer stories and high volume & high-quality reviews in third-party review sites. In partnership with Product Marketing, create and maintain a library of customer stories in various formats (case studies, blogs, articles, videos, slides, social media cards) that amplify our brand story Own lifecycle marketing tech stack (MAP. CDP, analytics, enrichment and personalization platforms) in partnership with Marketing Ops. For Senior Director, experience in managing SDR/BDR teams handling both Inbound and Outbound is essential.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

  • 15+ years in marketing, with 5+ years in lifecycle, retention, or customer marketing for a SaaS or subscription business.

  • Experience managing SDR teams with structured programs, tracking and metrics

  • Proven success in driving measurable retention, expansion, and NRR improvements at scale.

  • Experience in PLG (product-led growth) environments or with hybrid sales-assisted models.

  • Deep understanding of CRM, email automation, CDP, analytics, and customer data models.

  • Experience building and leading high-performing lifecycle marketing teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SQL, dashboards, or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Amplitude, etc.).

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and executive presentation skill
