We’re growing and looking to hire a Director of Marketing who embodies our core values: People First, Customer Obsession, Strive for Excellence, and Integrity.

Claroty’s Public Sector practice is rapidly expanding to secure the mission-critical systems that our society’s safety and stability depend on. We are looking for mission-driven professionals who want to join a high-growth team dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring essential services remain resilient and uninterrupted. This is a remote US position. Open to candidates on the east coast, DC Preferred. Estimated travel Requirement is 10%.

About the Role:

We’re growing and looking to hire a Director of Marketing for the Public Sector. This role is a strategic leadership position focused on driving Claroty’s growth within the US Public Sector through integrated brand positioning, digital ABM, and high-impact field events. Leveraging 5 to 8 years of Federal marketing experience, the ideal candidate will mentor a cross-functional team and activate key channel partnerships to navigate complex government procurement cycles and national security mandates.

Responsibilities

As a Director of Marketing for our Public Sector team, your impact will be:

  • Strategic Planning: Own the annual marketing plan for the US Public Sector (Federal and State Local Government). You will align marketing investments with company targets, identifying high-growth agency sub-verticals, and navigating the nuances of the government fiscal year.
  • Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership: Position Claroty as a premier authority in CPS Protection. You will drive PR, speaking engagements, and content strategy to ensure our message reaches key decision-makers within public sector agencies.
  • Integrated Demand Generation:
  • Digital: Targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, leveraging intent data and government-specific digital channels to build high-quality pipeline.
  • Events: Strategy and execution of high-impact field events, from major industry conferences (e.g., Billington) to intimate agency-specific executive briefings.
  • Channel Marketing: Collaborate with our partner ecosystem, including GSIs, VARs, and distributors (e.g., Carahsoft), to develop "co-sell" marketing programs that accelerate our presence on key contract vehicles and GSA schedules.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Lead a cross-functional marketing team with members from various disciplines. You will serve as a player-coach, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and professional development while acting as the internal subject matter expert for all things Public Sector.

Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Experience: 5–8 years of proven marketing experience specifically within the US Federal market. You understand the "Beltway" and how to navigate the complex government procurement lifecycle.
  • Field & Channel Expertise: A strong background in field marketing and partner-led growth. You know how to activate a channel to multiply your marketing reach.
  • Strategic Capability: The ability to zoom out and build a long-term plan, but also zoom in to ensure a lead-gen webinar or trade show booth is executed flawlessly.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can translate "OT/IoT security" into "Mission Readiness" for agency leadership.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading teams or mentoring cross-functional peers. You are a collaborator who can influence stakeholders across Sales and Corporate Marketing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with federal cybersecurity mandates and compliance frameworks is a significant plus.
