The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing, executing and implementing strategic marketing strategies focused on generating high-quality sales leads and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage projects, analyze market data, and make recommendations to leadership while supporting their team. This role will collaborate closely with the sales team and executive leadership to use data to optimize performance.

What you will be doing: 

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive demand and lead generation strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the creation and management of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
  • Lead Nurturing and Scoring: Develop and manage lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel, often using marketing automation tools.
    • Top of Funnel: Responsible for company Lead Generation strategy and success from MQL to SQL to look at creating 1000- 1500 SQL’s a year
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment on lead generation efforts and to hand off qualified leads effectively.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign effectiveness to continuously optimize strategies and maximize ROI. Analyze marketing and sales data to report on campaign performance, interpret findings, and provide data-informed recommendations to management for strategy improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the marketing budget for all lead generation activities. Prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team, fostering a culture of results-driven performance
  • Event Planning and Execution: Independently plan, manage, and execute marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, and promotional activities. This includes coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and providing on-site support. 
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for outsourced CMO, external vendors, such as advertising agencies and printing companies, managing tasks and project deliverables to ensure quality and budget adherence. Communicate project objectives and deadlines to internal sales, design, and executive teams. 


 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, with 5 or more years relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proven experience as a manager and leader in a previous role, demonstrating the ability to guide teams, make strategic decisions, and achieve organizational goals.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role, with demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, and lead generation.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously and under pressure. 
  • Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of motivating and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Creative and results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with CRM and database management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in compiling and interpreting market data to make strategic decisions. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Creativity and innovation to develop engaging marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Must possess advanced MS Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and AI-driven growth tools.
  • Experience with Campaign Reporting, especially multi-object, or cross platform reporting
  • Experience with social media execution and/or management in HubSpot
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn the following
    1. Video editing tools
    2. Zapier or other database integration tools
    3. ConnectWise
    4. DocuSign
    5. Lattice
    6. HubSpot CRM & Marketing Hub
    7. GONG

This job operates in a professional remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

 

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, Regular Business hours, with some afterhours work as business needs require.

 

Travel:

Some travel is expected (estimated: up to 20%) for industry events, and conferences.
