Job Description

The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Director, Health Care Provider (HCP) Marketing – US Dermatology. While our US offices are based in Plymouth Meeting, PA and Jersey City, NJ, this position is remote-friendly.

This position will report to the Executive Director, US Dermatology Marketing & Access Strategy.

The HCP Marketing Director will lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of professional marketing across the US Dermatology portfolio, encompassing both Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis indications. This role will drive the evolution of Organon’s Dermatology HCP marketing strategy—shaping how we engage dermatologists and allied prescribers, developing insight-driven campaigns, and leading the delivery of high-impact omnichannel experiences.

This position requires a seasoned, innovative leader with deep Dermatology marketing experience (required), proven ability to craft and operationalize strategy, and a strong track record in campaign development and cross-functional leadership.

This role requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical rigor, and creative excellence. The ideal candidate will be a modern marketer—skilled at using insights, data, and innovation to shape HCP behavior and preference, and motivated to reimagine how we connect with prescribers in today’s dynamic healthcare landscape. In addition, this person is Sales and relationship-oriented, supporting the Field and serving as their go-to liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of the annual HCP marketing plan for U.S. Dermatology, including insight generation, segmentation, positioning, and executional excellence.

  • Own end-to-end campaign leadership, from strategy through creative development and omnichannel activation across digital, print, field, and experiential channels.

  • Shape the brand’s professional identity and messaging platform across Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis, ensuring clear differentiation and data-driven storytelling aligned with the product value proposition.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Training, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Marketing to ensure alignment and seamless field and customer pull-through.

  • Lead agency partners to deliver high-quality creative work, content excellence, and measurable ROI; manage budgets and performance metrics.

  • Direct segmentation and targeting strategies, ensuring the right messages reach the right HCP audiences through tailored, insight-based engagement plans.

  • Champion innovation in omnichannel and digital engagement, exploring new platforms, partnerships, and technologies to elevate reach and relevance.

  • Collaborate with Market Research & Insights to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and performance optimization opportunities.

  • Serve as the HCP marketing lead on cross-brand initiatives, representing Dermatology in enterprise forums and integrated planning discussions.

  • Coach and develop team members (direct and indirect), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure timely and compliant execution through Medical Loss Ratio (Veeva PromoMats) processes, maintaining excellence in content review and approval.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • BA/BS degree.

  • Minimum eight to ten years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, with at least five years in Dermatology or Immunology HCP marketing.

  • Demonstrated success leading strategic and tactical planning for in-line or launch brands.

  • Proven ability to lead campaign development and translate insights into impactful, measurable engagement strategies.

  • Deep understanding of HCP omnichannel marketing, digital innovation, and field enablement.

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to influence across commercial, medical, and corporate functions.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience navigating Medical Loss Ratio review processes (Veeva PromoMats).

  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–25%, including occasional weekends.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills

  • MBA or advanced business degree.

  • Prior people management experience (this person will have at least one direct report).

  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to synthesize data into actionable strategy.

  • Experience with competitive response, KOL engagement, and scientific storytelling.

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience.
