POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is pivotal in advancing patient engagement, retention, and acquisition through SMS messaging, sophisticated email campaigns and automation techniques. This position oversees and implements AMSURG’s automated patient recall program and marketing automation outreach. This role will primarily focus on patient relationship marketing automation, enhancing patient experience and email campaign creation/automation. The specialist in this role will deploy customized patient reminders via emails, letters, and texts to facilitate medically necessary follow-up care. Additionally, this role entails the development and execution of email marketing initiatives utilizing email automation systems to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction. Furthermore, the specialist will manage email outreach campaigns targeting internal employees, prospective clients, potential partners, and clinicians to recruit and foster relationships.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement effective email marketing campaigns to drive patient follow-up appointments and enhance user engagement.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and increase conversion rates.
  • CRM and Database Management: Manage the integration and functionality of CRM platforms to ensure seamless automation and accurate data management.
  • Develop strategies for database segmentation to target communications effectively.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and automation efforts. Provide actionable insights to refine strategies continuously.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure the timely and efficient execution of marketing programs.
  • Periodic travel (about 20%) to engage with ASCs, attend industry events, and participate in field marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

  • Proficient in email marketing automation software, preferably EMMA.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Strong background in email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Experience with database management and segmentation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple projects.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing is preferred.
