Job Description
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager, SEO/GEO to accelerate organic growth for our brand and products through best-in-class Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). In this role, you’ll be the in-house expert on how customers discover, evaluate, and choose our products via traditional search and AI-driven discovery experiences. You’ll collaborate across content, web, analytics, and engineering teams to improve visibility, qualified traffic, engagement, and conversion—while enabling segment marketing teams with clear standards, playbooks, and an execution cadence. If you’re passionate about driving measurable impact and staying ahead of evolving search trends, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Own the SEO/GEO roadmap and monthly operating cadence: Prioritize high-impact initiatives and deliver clear briefs, standards, and QA for execution.
- Drive technical SEO excellence with the web development team: Improve crawlability, indexation, site health, performance, structured data, and release QA; resolve issues quickly.
- Build compounding content and authority: Lead keyword/topic and intent research; guide creation and refresh of high-intent pages and content hubs. Drive link earning and citations (including local citations where applicable).
- Win in AI-driven discovery (GEO): Implement answer-first, citation-worthy content modules that improve inclusion, accuracy, and conversions.
- Measure impact and continuously improve: Maintain dashboards from visibility → qualified traffic → conversions; run audits, report insights, and translate learnings into roadmap updates.
What You Bring
- 4–6 years of hands-on SEO/GEO experience with a proven track record of driving results (visibility/rank, qualified traffic, engagement, and conversions).
- Ability to operate as a best-in-class SEO/GEO practitioner and own strategy, prioritization, and execution across technical, content, and authority workstreams.
- Expertise in reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush, HubSpot).
- Experience working with CMS platforms—WordPress preferred.
- Clear communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and web fundamentals as they relate to SEO.
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization and online customer acquisition via organic channels.
- Ability to stay current with evolving SEO/GEO best practices, algorithm shifts, and AI-driven discovery changes.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset to work with teams focused on website management, analytics, content, design, and development.
