WECU is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator who will execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This position supports the marketing team by managing day-to-day digital activities, coordinating content deployment, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about digital engagement.
Washington-based organization, but work may be performed remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Digital Content & Asset Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce and publish digital content. Maintain and update website content using CMS platforms. Create digital content, including blog posts, social media posts, and emails.
- SEO & SEM Support: Assist in keyword research, on-page optimization, and paid search campaign management.
- Marketing Automation: Support email marketing development, workflows, segmentation, testing, reporting, and optimization.
- Digital Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of assets across digital channels and web. Coordinate content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Member Communications: Execute member communications across all digital marketing channels to support key initiatives, activate membership, and increase member loyalty.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reports on KPIs such as engagement, conversion, and cost per lead.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, sales, and product teams to align messaging and campaign goals. Collaborate with the marketing team and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
- Vendor Coordination: Participate in meetings with external agencies, internal resources and third parties to ensure successful production and delivery of campaigns.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and implement new strategies to enhance demand generation efforts. Monitor changes in AI-driven search ecosystems to keep the credit union’s content relevant, authoritative, and discoverable.
- Contribute to other Marketing efforts as needed.
- Follows WECU’s policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned and may also assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing-related field with emphasis in digital communications, or equivalent professional experience required (two to four years).
- Two years of digital marketing experience required.
- Ability to execute at least several of the following aspects of digital marketing: website administration and analytics, SEO and CRO, email marketing, digital advertising, and digital strategy.
- Understanding of the digital ecosystem and its role in a contemporary and integrated member experience.
- Experience with WordPress and other Content Management Systems.
- Experience with Google Suite.
- Experience with Marketing Automation technology.
- Experience with Adobe Design Suite is preferred.
- Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.
- Experience in financial services preferred.
- Fluency in marketing, advertising and communications best practice.
- Excellent and accurate writing skills, composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to deal with unexpected events and occasionally attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
- Exercise judgment, initiative, and tact in dealing with membership, department supervisors, and staff.
- Represent WECU in a positive, professional manner in person, on the telephone, and in written correspondence.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is from $28.56 to $40.32 per hour.
