About the Role
The Coordinator, Business Development & Marketing provides research, coordination, and administrative support to internal Business Development and Global Marketing teams. This role supports proactive new business and marketing initiatives by conducting prospect research, maintaining contact and target lists, preparing company backgrounders, tracking outreach activity, and assisting with internal workflows. The position is primarily internal-facing, execution-oriented, and does not include client-facing responsibilities.
This position is part-time (10–20 hours per week) to start, offered on a defined term employee (DTE) or contractor basis, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on target companies, industries, and potential prospects to support business development and marketing initiatives
Perform LinkedIn and desk research to identify relevant contacts and connections
Build, maintain, and update prospect and contact lists using internal tools and databases
Prepare backgrounders, summaries, and research briefs on target companies and organizations
Track, summarize, and analyze outreach activity and communications (e.g., LinkedIn engagement, email outreach)
Support internal coordination and organization across multiple BD and marketing projects
Assist with administrative and light project management tasks, including tracking timelines and follow-ups
Collaborate with Business Development and Global Marketing team members to ensure accurate, timely support
Utilize AI and productivity tools as appropriate to support research and efficiency
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in business development, marketing, research, sales support, or administrative/project coordination roles – agency experience a plus
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong written communication skills for synthesizing research and drafting summaries
Comfort using spreadsheets, presentation tools, and collaboration platforms
Familiarity with LinkedIn research and contact prospecting tools
Interest in business development, marketing, or research-related career paths
Agency experience or exposure to professional services environments is a plus
Proactive mindset with the confidence to share observations and insights internally

Compensation
The base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below. The actual salary may vary based on several factors such as business requirements, job responsibilities, skills, experience, and geographical location.

$32—$40 USD
