About the OpportunityThe Content & Marketing Manager supports Ellucian’s European marketing strategy through execution of high‑quality digital programs, content creation, and regional stakeholder engagement. This role serves as the primary digital, content and social media specialist for the UK & Ireland within the Europe regional team.
Working closely with regional leadership, global digital marketing, brand, content, and sales teams, you will manage the creation, delivery and tracking impact of digital assets and campaigns (with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn), monitor and drive content workflows, and lead cross‑functional projects that elevate Ellucian’s presence and accelerate customer and prospect engagement across the region.
This role balances operational execution with strategic input, ensuring that UK&I marketing activity is locally relevant, measurable, and aligned with Ellucian’s broader go‑to‑market priorities.
Where You Will Make an Impact
Digital Management
- Own the digital calendar for UK & Ireland, including paid media, email, web, social and digital reporting.
- Develop region‑specific digital and social plans that complement global campaign frameworks but resonate with regional buying personas.
- Work with the web team to build and maintain regional microsites and SEO/AIO relevancy.
- Coordinate with global digital teams to ensure alignment on ad operations, governance, and optimisation best practices.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring consistent, high‑quality execution across platforms.
- Use performance insights to refine and improve campaigns.
Social Media Management
- Own the social media strategy for UK & Ireland, including paid, organic and reporting.
- Weekly project management of the creation of social content, including: 3-4 posts per week and 1-2 blogs per month.
- Respond quickly and effectively to the changing market dynamics to ensure the Ellucian brand remains relevant.
- Equip the regional team with the right tools to be active and effective social media ambassadors of the Ellucian Brand.
- Use performance insights to refine and improve against KPIs.
Content Creation & Asset Management
- Write compelling social copy, email copy, and digital content tailored to UK&I market needs, utilising AI tools.
- Use Canva to create design assets for social posts and campaigns.
- Manage the creation of higher value content assets in collaboration with regional content agency.
- Project management of video production to create compelling case studies and social videos.
- Maintain and organise a repository of regional content in Highspot.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee and coordinate all UK&I digital and content initiatives, managing timelines, approvals, and stakeholder expectations.
- Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Brand, Product Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure localised alignment on key messages and execution.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting progress, performance metrics, and opportunities.
Support for Regional Marketing Programs
- Support digital promotion and content workflows for events, field programs, customer initiatives, roadshows, and conferences.
- Provide ad‑hoc support for high‑priority regional and European campaigns, including execution tasks, content needs, and measurement support.
Assist with amplification of key moments, including event highlights, customer stories, and campaigns.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B digital or campaign marketing. High tech/SaaS preferred.
- Strong knowledge on content creation and experience in developing and executing digital marketing plans.
- Excellent program management, calendar timeline, and budget management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing LinkedIn campaigns (paid + organic).
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for higher education and technology audiences.
- A good eye for visual design, brand consistency and experience using Canva is essential.
- Familiarity with Sprout, Highspot, Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics and 6Sense is desirable.
- Ability to interpret data and translate performance insights into recommendations.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively across global and regional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
