The Role
We’re looking for a performance-driven Associate Director, Affiliate Marketing to own and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner—driving affiliate strategy, execution, and innovation—while connecting the channel to broader Paid, Earned, and Owned media efforts. Reporting into the Director, Affiliate Marketing, you’ll lead high-impact programs end-to-end, from partner development and campaign execution to cross-channel growth opportunities, all while delivering measurable business outcomes. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $93,000- $113,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

\nManaging a select enterprise client accounts as both the main point of contact and Director support, providing proactive and consistent client outreach and communication
Executing day-to-day responsibilities including:
Weekly or bi-weekly reporting, monthly reporting, and/or QBRs
Recruit and onboard new partners to your clients' programs
Identify and execute paid placement campaigns from start to finish
Interfacing with relevant affiliate networks to coordinate aspects of program management and engaging in regular communication with affiliates to foster growth
Lead and launching any potential network migrations
Developing relationships and socializing affiliate strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients, advancing strategies/objectives for select clients
Establishing a strong understanding of client needs, solve complex challenges using subject matter expertise, drive process improvements, and strengthen client relationships
Confidently navigates difficult client questions and responds credibly, can provide team with support on calls/in person during these conversations
Assessing competitive landscape and providing recommendations, opportunities, suggestions, and education to clients and internal teams
Continuously refining and updating the training process and materials for new hires.
Identifying areas of internal cross-sell and present recommendations to clients, working with internal teams on next steps and partnering with clients through the cross sell process
Leading Affiliate Marketing-related discussions and partaking in internal or public speaking opportunities
Maintaining sufficient knowledge of core digital marketing channels, including influencer marketing, paid media, and earned/owned media
Assisting sales team on audits, decks and pitches for prospective Affiliate Marketing clients
Improving business processes & workflows to enable better collaboration & efficiency between account managers, clients, and business units
Spearhead development of new department deliverables based on Affiliate Marketing industry evolution and opportunities
Support the Affiliate business unit leader and upper directorate in reporting to the SVP of Paid Media and other upper executives on key client service pillars: same-store growth, retention, new business, and partnerships
Identify critical client/account issues and escalate them to appropriate executives in a timely manner
Anticipating the needs of the Affiliate business unit leader, upper directorate and the SVP of Paid Media by providing concise, actionable information on account opportunities
Oversee high-profile accounts to stay current on applicable technology, tactics, and account obstacles
Test and learn new strategies, features, and platforms and share findings with the Affiliate Marketing department
6-8 years of experience working in Affiliate Marketing, comprising media campaign strategy within an agency/client environment
Extensive experience developing, optimizing, analyzing, and reporting on Affiliate Marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clients and verticals (Ecom/retail, subscriptions, international and B2B)
Experienced with affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ, PepperJam, Rakuten, AWIN, Partnerize, etc
Experienced with insights data, partner performance, and key trends to inform the development of strategies and plans
Strong working experience running regular and ad hoc reports to hone in on data that demonstrate areas of opportunity to grow and optimize client affiliate partnerships, with an emphasis on forecasting
Bachelor’s degree or related four-year degree or relevant experience
