A mission-driven performance marketing agency is hiring an Account Manager (AM) to support and grow partner relationships across the higher education and nonprofit sectors. This role is centered on owning day-to-day partner success - keeping campaigns on track, deliverables aligned and on time, and performance moving in the right direction.
You’ll work closely with an Account Director (AD) on larger accounts, while independently owning partners as their primary point of contact. If you’re organized, proactive, and love being the glue that keeps multi-stakeholder work running smoothly, you’ll feel at home here.
This is a remote role, paid in USD, with compensation based on experience and scope.

You’ll be the operational and relational backbone for your accounts, ensuring partners feel supported and internal teams stay aligned.
Be the main day-to-day contact for assigned partners, keeping communication clear, proactive, and partner-first
Run partner check-ins for owned accounts with strong agendas, alignment notes, and follow-through
Translate partner needs into actionable internal direction and keep detailed records on scope, deliverables, and status
Coordinate campaigns end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope stay tight
Monitor performance with the paid media team, pull reports, and surface insights that drive smarter decisions
Keep creative, media, and analytics pods aligned so execution stays smooth and predictable
Track progress against partner goals: budget, inquiries, apps, enrollments
Spot retention, renewal, and upsell opportunities early and support proposals alongside the Account Director
Jump into new business support and onboarding when needed to help partnerships start strong
Assist with account financial health by supporting reporting accuracy and following up on invoicing as requested
You’re confident owning partner communication and keeping complex workflows organized.
3+ years in Account Management (marketing/agency experience preferred)
Strong project management + organization skills
Excellent communication — clear, friendly, proactive, solutions-oriented
Able to translate partner needs into actionable internal direction
Comfortable in Asana or similar PM tools
Analytical mindset with experience in performance reporting
Experience in higher education marketing
Worked with mission-driven orgs or nonprofits
Exposure to renewals, retention, or upsell support
