About the role:

Red Hat's North America Regional Marketing team is looking for a strategic yet hands-on Account-Based Marketing Manager located in the Toronto, Ontario or Montreal, Québec metropolitan area to lead the account-based marketing strategy for some of Red Hat’s largest customers. Qualified candidates will have at least seven years B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology, including three or more years in account-based marketing with demonstrated success building and executing successful account-based marketing programs. In this role, you will work closely with Sales to to build a cohesive strategic marketing plan aligned to customer goals, account plans and priorities. You will be responsible for developing and executing personalized, high touch marketing strategies to increase customer engagement, drive revenue, build and expand executive and stakeholder relationships, and facilitate adoption and advocacy of Red Hat technologies.

Must possess the desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced and exciting work environment.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute personalized, high-touch strategies to increase customer engagement, drive revenue growth, build and strengthen executive and stakeholder relationships, and facilitate adoption and advocacy of Red Hat technologies

  • Build a cohesive strategic marketing plan aligned to customer goals, Sales account plans, and business priorities

  • Build and expand customer relationships including C-level executives and various buying groups

  • Develop messaging and content tailored to the customer’s unique needs, challenges and opportunities

  • Closely monitor key performance metrics and provide stakeholders with regular updates on marketing plans, performance and impact

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the technology sector

  • 3+ years of experience building and executing account-based marketing programs

  • English and French fluency highly desired

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies

  • Ability to seamlessly support multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functional teams and geographies

  • Outcome-oriented with the ability to monitor key performance metrics, identify trends and derive insights 

  • Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills

  • Highly professional, team player with a positive attitude, growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills and initiative

  • Knowledge of open source, cloud, virtualization and AI technologies beneficial

  • Knowledge of TOPO, ITSMA, or SiriusDecisions ABM marketing framework 

  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and execute to plans

  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline required; Masters degree a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, primarily in North America

  • Strong communication skills in English as the position will interact with many Red Hat teams located outside of Quebec and Canada.
